World ICU works with educational institutions to verify and obtain certification in the form of tickets, certificates, diplomas, degrees and professional designations for people. We are also in alliance with training organizations so that when gaps are identified, an immediate solution is available.

Dr. Mark Kolodziej

For over twenty years Dr. Mark Kolodziej has been educating, training and leading students and teams within institutions, associations and corporations throughout Canada and in the United States. As educator, consultant and entrepreneur, Mark's repertoire of clients span a broad range of sectors, from educational facilities to business industries. His expertise lies in the realms of prior learning assessment/retention, strategic planning, standards of practice development and validation, among others.

Mark is committed to and fueled by the acquisition and transmission of knowledge. A Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Science and Graduate Diploma in Education, Masters in Science and Doctorate in Education, lay the substantial foundation for his teaching, consulting and entrepreneurial success. Utilizing his specialized knowledge in the areas of statistics, research, science and business Mark has been a vital faculty member at Athabasca University, Nova Southeastern University, University of Calgary and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT).

He also works part time with the Calgary Police Service. His contributions include statistical consulting, career counseling and courses related to wellness and stress. Occasionally he sits as a committee member and subject matter expert for doctoral learners completing their PHD programs at Capella University.

In later years Mark's primary focus has been on the development of entrepreneurial ventures in relation to business management, gap analysis, Return on Investment/Return on Learning and operational standards and competency development. World ICU, Inc. is the amalgamation of Mark's educational and professional knowledge and skills.

Ambrose Samulski

Ambrose Samulski brings over 35 years of experience in both academic leadership and business development. He has developed and delivered academic programs over a 30 years span at Durham College, Trent University, University of Ontario Institute of Technology and Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT Polytechnic). His international experience was gained by developing technology transfer capabilities in developing and under developed countries via education programs. It was also attained through enabling local workforce development by outcomes based training and by business development services. Ambrose was involved with both short and multi-year projects, in over 30 countries around the world. He has consulted with the federal governments of 7 countries on forming market driven, industry responsive post secondary institutions. He has studied education systems worldwide, through postgraduate studies, international exchanges and project work. Ambrose has held senior positions at Post secondary institutions including Dean of the Schools of Applied Science and Technology, Executive Director of Corporate Relations and VP of Business Development and Corporate Training. He has successfully managed numerous multimillion dollar projects.

Ruth Moellenbeck

Ruth Moellenbeck is a Director and Owner of a Human Resource Company has worked with a variety of stakeholders, including government, community and private industry to meet employment and economic development needs. She developed a strong track record in the delivery of training, placements and human resource management services. Ruth has been actively involved in the research, development and implementation of competency based training materials and program delivery. Ruth is an Occupational Therapist and a certified Validator in the healthcare field. Through her extensive experience in career Development, recruitment, placements and downsizing she has utilized planning and evaluation methodologies tied to measurable outcomes.

Patrick Martens

Pat Martens has more than 38 years of educational experience, spending 22 years in the public school system and 16 years in post secondary. Pat's major contribution in the school systems has been in the development of partnerships - high school with post secondary, high school with industry and post secondary with industry. These partnerships include three countries (Canada, United States and Mexico), and several cultural groups including First Nation's communities. Pat has a Master's Degree in Education and has held many positions in his work career, ranging from teacher, instructor and principal to dean. Pat has also won several teaching and education leadership awards. Amongst many areas of specialty, Pat has significant experience in dealing with quality systems in education, including ISO and Six Sigma.
